The creators of the South Park animations have signed a $900m (£646m) deal with giant US media, ViacomCBS.
Chris McCarthy of MTV Entertainment and Paramount revealed the deal in a statement.
McCarthy said, “Matt and Trey are world-class creative who brilliantly use their outrageous humor to skewer the absurdities of our culture and we are excited to expand and deepen our long relationship with them to help fuel Paramount+ and Comedy Central.”
In the agreement Trey Parker and Matt Stone are expected to make new South Park episodes for the Comedy Central network and also create more than a dozen spinoff movies for Viacom’s Paramount+ streaming service.
The agreement is reported to run to the end of 2027 which project them making six seasons of the South Park TV show and 14 movies.
