The Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate has confirmed its receival of the sum of £26,505,862.97 repatriated pension fund from the United Kingdom.

PTAD who revealed this on Tuesday said the funds were under investment with Crown Agents Investment Management Limited in the United Kingdom.

The Executive Secretary of PTAD, Chioma Ejikeme in a statement issued by the agency in Abuja stated that the repatriation of the fund was made possible by the approval of the President, Mohammadu Buhari.

Ejikeme further stated that the funds would be used to settle part of the accrued arrears owed to its pensioners which is over N120bn.
