Vodafone Idea (Vi) has launched voice and data benefits worth Rs 75.
The third largest telecommunication company revealed this in a statement on Tuesday, adding that the launch is to ensure those in the lower income strata remain connected as Covid-19 cases slow down.
The statement read, “To reconnect these low income group customers as they start returning to work locations-Vi is giving 50 Vi to Vi calling minutes along with 50MB of data. The benefit comes with a validity of 15 days.”
This is the second such offer from Vi. as the company in May had rolled out recharges and talk time offers for its 60 million low- income subscribers in a bid to prevent rivals Reliance Jio and
Bharti Airtel NSE -0.67% from poaching customers with similar offers.
